Meet Miriam. She was born with spina bifida and congenital malformations of her leg. Within the early years of her life, she had several surgeries on her spine and leg. However, the bone defects in her leg were too extreme, and eventually, she had her right leg amputated when she was seven years old. Despite her rough road, Miriam is optimistic about her future and sporting endeavors. She is an active child and dreams of being able to run, jump, and play soccer. Her family did not have the means to afford the sports prosthetic that would allow Miriam to reach her full potential. Because of our generous donors, GIVABILITY stepped in, purchased, and gifted a prosthetic running blade to Miriam. We hope to watch her genuinely thrive with her new prosthetic leg.
